Salem Strobist Meet up

Today we ventured out to the Salem strobist meet up. It was a good time to learn some lighting techniques and mingle with fellow photographers. Here are some samples of our work.

A farewell and a welcoming

This portrait session was really special for us, because not only was it a maternity and family session it was also farewell. Amanda and Philip are not only preparing to bring a new baby into the world, but also to say goodbye to one another for a year. Philip is in the National Guard and he will be deploying to serve our country. These pictures depict their love for one another and their children. They were fun to work with and were willing to try anything to get the look that they wanted and I think that we captured that. I am very pleased with how these pictures turned out.

Senior Session

Shane is just finishing up his senior year and is very involved in sports at his school and wanted his senior portraits to show that. He was really fun to work with because he was willing to try anything to get the best pictures. The day was a little overcast but it turned out to be great for these pictures. We hope you have a good ending of your senior year and enjoy your pictures: )
